WALK FOR LIFE MODESTO
GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 6TH at 8am, Eastridge Community Church


Please join our entire Catholic and Pro-Life community on Good Friday, April 6th at 8am. Meet at Eastridge Community Church on the corner of Oakdale and Briggsmore, Modesto. We will sing and pray as we walk 4 miles (2 hours) through Modesto passing the abortion clinic on Coffee Road. The walk will conclude at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at approximately 10am. We pray that you are able to join us and will help promote this vital event. Please bring your entire family and friends. Make and bring a Pro-Life sign and wear comfortable shoes. Presenter Background
Fr. Jay Mello was ordained a priest in 2007 for the Diocese of Fall River, Massachusetts.  He currently serves as parochial vicar for St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Falmouth, MA.  He completed his undergraduate studies at Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2003.  He attended the Pontifical North American College in Rome for his priestly formation and obtained his STB and STL in Dogmatic Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University.  His talks will be framed around the events of April 2005, the end of Blessed John Paul II's life and the beginning of Pope Benedict's pontificate, where Fr. Jay got a first-hand perspective at that time, studying in Rome as a seminarian.
