At St. Joseph's, prayer and the sacraments are of great importance, and as a parish we are blessed to have so many activities going on to help us grow spiritually and educationally in our sacramental and prayer life.
        We are proud to offer Perpetual Adoration at St. Joseph's; you can come to adore Our Lord any time day or night! Perpetual Adoration Chapel access code available in office. Holy Hour in the Church: Fridays 6:30pm-7:30pm

Infant Baptism

Baptism is the first of the three Sacraments of Initiation; the other two are Confirmation and Eucharist. In the waters of Baptism, we become members of the Body of Christ--God's People; we are configured to Jesus Christ the High Priest and share in his prophetic, kingly, and priestly mission; original sin is remitted.

Reconciliation (Confession)

The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst they said to him, "Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such. What do you say about her?" This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, "Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her." And once more he bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. But when they heard it, they went away, one by one, beginning with the eldest, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him. Jesus looked up and said to her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you; go, and do not sin again."

First Holy Communion

First Holy Communion is the second of the first 3 Sacraments received in the Catholic Faith. At St. Joseph's there are FHC classes for young children and young adults both.

Confirmation For Adults and Children

Most Catholics receive Confirmation in their teen years.  At St. Joseph's the ordinary time to receive this sacrament is 8th grade.  We also provide preparation for High School students.  All children and teens are prepared for Confirmation through our Parish School of Religion.
       Many Catholic adults never received this sacrament earlier in life. We offer preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation for Baptized Catholics who have already received First Holy Communion.  This formation for Adults who have already received First Holy Communion is offered is offered year-round, and you may call Stacy Phillips at 209-541-8903 for more information.
