Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)
Cast all your worries upon him because he cares for you.
(1 Peter 5:7)
In the course of an hour we come to:
- To offer our love and reverence the the Holy Eucharist….the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
- To give honor, glory, praise, and thanks to God.
- To request the mercy of God, to make reparations for sin, and to receive consolation for our sufferings.
- To pray for vocations to the priesthood and the consecrated life.
- To pray for our own spiritual and temporal needs, and for the needs of those that have asked us to pray for them.
- To deepen our personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- To grow in our devotion towards the Blessed Virgin Mary, the first Tabernacle.
“The time you spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the best time you will spend on earth. Each moment that you spend with Jesus will deepen your union with Him and make your soul everlastingly more glorious and beautiful in Heaven, and will help bring about everlasting peace on earth.” (Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta). |
