Adult Soccer League

Leader:  Roberto Gutierrez

Purpose:  To seek and prepare our community for life, for responsible citizenship and for service to all peoples and ultimately for God’s Kingdom.  To foster a sense of belonging and support within the team and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, to encourage members to reflect on the significance of their own spirituality as they compete and work with each other toward common goals.

Annual Parish Fall Festival:  September 2013 - Our 43rd Annual!

Leader:  Bob Shannon and Ken Kramer

Purpose:  To invite our parish family and community neighbors to an exploration of our parish and community of ministries, as they enjoy international food, games, carnival rides, free entertainment and so much more!  All volunteers receive a free t-shirt!

Purpose:  To promote spiritual and social activities for energetic and vibrant single adults.  With Christ at its center, this group is committed to rejuvenating and refreshing the soul in order to give back to those in need through prayers and by including God in their travels and activities.

Boy Scout Troop #49 and Cub Scouts

Leader:  Mike Grodt

Purpose:  St. Joseph’s Catholic Church provides a place for Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts to meet on a regular basis.

Annual Parish Blessings Month - Month of May

Leader:  Development and Stewardship Committees
Purpose:  To explore how thankful and blessed we are as a parish once each year, by "counting our blessings" which we and others in our community receive from the gifts of our offertory.  Included are statistics about ministry activities, a free parish breakfast, children's "how I have been blessed" artwork and poetry contest, children's choir performance and free "I Love Blessings" stickers for all.  Truly, we are blessed!
A great opportunity to get to know other parishioners, by volunteering at the breakfast, helping to hang up children's artwork or hand out stickers.  C

Dinner and Feast Day Volunteers

Purpose:  To promote a culture of family, as we gather together to enjoy meals, including breakfasts, potluck dinners and other community builders.
