STJMOD Food Pantry
New Name but Same Game: Helping others at Christmas!
Our St. Vincent de Paul Ministry has changed names this month. These stewards will continue to use their gifts of service and your gifts of generosity to provide year-round 2X week emergency food pantry services and emergency utility assistance through their helpline. The ONLY thing that has changed is their name: they are now the St. Joseph’s (STJMOD) Pantry and Helpline Ministry. This name change was necessitated by a request from the national office of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. What can you do this Christmas, as our ministry prepares for its annual 350-Christmas Baskets Project and Great Ham Race? You can participate! We are not distributing toys this year, but the Pantry does need: boxed potatoes, canned green beans, fruit cocktail and pumpkin, Jello boxes and brownie/cake mix. Of course, this wonderful Christmas Basket would not be complete without hams! This year, the Pantry is in need of either 5lb. canned hams or simply wrapped sliced hams. Please bring your food items from 9am-12Noon M,T,Th,Fri |
