When Catholics understand the depth of commitment that Christ is calling them to in the Sacrament of Marriage, they are better prepared to put Him at the center of their lives and so share this sense of commitment and faith with the children they bring in to this world. Our faith is handed down from generation to generation, therefore, strong marriages create strong families who create strong Christians.
Couples planning to be married at St. Joseph’s are required to attend this course and must first meet with the pastor to begin the marriage preparation process.
St. Joseph’s then offers the Marriage Preparation Course for Engaged Couples is a six week course taught by married couples and priests. Topics of the course include
