Parish Movie Night Team
Leader: Stewardship Sub Committee Leader: Nickie Miranda
Purpose: To bring St. Joseph's Family of Families together occasionally for a really big screen viewing of children's classics, adult and family themed movies in our parish hall. FREE popcorn, lemonade and coffee for all. Movie-goers are invited to bring cookies to share. Plenty of floor space for blankets or pillows and chairs for all. On the Go Adults
Leader: Arlene Jones
Purpose: To promote spiritual and social activities for energetic and vibrant single adults ages 55+. With Christ at its center, this group is committed to rejuvenating and refreshing the soul in order to give back to those in need through prayers and by including God in their travels and activities. |
Catholic Legislative Network
Purpose: To answer the call to political responsibility and to meet the challenge of Faithful citizenship. To advocate the Catholic tradition that responsible citizenship is a virtue and that participation in the political process is a moral obligation. To advocate to the Church’s interests with regard to abortion, the death penalty, poverty, health, pro-family and other interests. Visit www.cacatholic.org to sign up for the email newsletter.

Event Volunteers (Including Dinners, Missions and Feast Days)
Leader: Each event varies - call the Center for Lay Apostolates
Purpose: To promote a culture of family, as we gather together to enjoy meals, including breakfasts, potluck dinners and other community builders. St. Joseph’s is always in need of event helpers and champions throughout the year. For those with just a little time or a lot of time and heart and an interest in enriching the spiritual, social, faith and prayer life of our Parish family. |

Joseph’s Juniors
Leader: Elizabeth Manix
Purpose: To provide a morning of fun and fellowship for children to grow like Jesus. On the 4th Saturday of each month, they will learn about the bible, saints, devotions and have a special Mass, activities, fellowship, and lots of fun. Joseph’s Juniors meets in the St. John Paul II Center, Room 11. Check-In is at 9 AM and Pick- up is at 12 Noon. Please note that all children must be checked in and picked up by their parent. We are happy to provide this enrichment and fellowship opportunity for your children so that they can grow like Jesus. |
Knights of Columbus
Leader: Tim Matalone, Grand Knight
Purpose: A Catholic brotherhood supporting charities, vocations, altar servers and the RCIA program along with many other charities. Purpose: St. Joseph’s Catholic Church provides a place for the Girls Scouting troop to meet on a regular basis. |
Maintenance Volunteers
Purpose: To assist during special events and other occasions in setting up tables and moving furniture and other heavy equipment. Help during semi-annual "clean up and repair up" the church Saturday events. Fellowship and an opportunity for those with carpenter, gardening and other trade skills and experience.

Parish Bookstore
Leader: Carol Schaper & Kathy Ralls
Purpose: To provide religious articles, books and videos for the parishioners to purchase after Masses. To help our parish family enhance their faith and come to a fuller understanding of the Church. Volunteer helpers for stocking, display and merchandising, sales and staffing available for teens-adults. |
Parish Library
Leader: Mary Jo Peyton
Purpose: The St. Joseph’s Lending Library is a wonderful resource of books, DVD’s and other resources for all ages. Volunteers are needed; hours are flexible. Train to be a librarian/desk assistant. |
Senior Strength Training

Lay Apostolate Center/Office Support
Purpose: To offer service to God and to St. Joseph’s Parish with joy by assisting in various, special projects and other clerical duties. Teens and up are welcome; hours are flexible.

Annual Parish Blessings Month - Month of May
Leader: Development and Stewardship Committees
Purpose: To explore how thankful and blessed we are as a parish once each year, by "counting our blessings" which we and others in our community receive from the gifts of our offertory. Included are statistics about ministry activities, a free parish breakfast, children's "how I have been blessed" artwork and poetry contest, children's choir performance and free "I Love Blessings" stickers for all. Truly, we are blessed! A great opportunity to get to know other parishioners, by volunteering at the breakfast, helping to hang up children's artwork or hand out stickers. |
